Angel graduated from Wayne State University in May 2026 with a Master's in Social Work, focusing on Community Engagement and Social Action. They first joined SDEV in August 2025 as an intern, supporting grant writing and development, community outreach and communications, and facilitating working groups. Angel is deeply committed to working alongside underserved and disenfranchised populations, driven by a belief in dignity and equity for all. Their contributions to the Southwest Detroit Chargeway and other projects reflect a dedication to environmental justice and a genuine heart for strengthening communities. Now a full member of the SDEV team, Angel's impact on both the Chargeway and the Clean Diesel Program is set to grow even further.
