Hi, I'm Chris. I've been with the garden since it first opened in 2012 and started off filling the bins with dirt, planting, and watering all summer. I live close to the garden which sparked my interest in helping my community. As an intern with the Ideal Group, I was able to work on many of their projects like providing fresh produce for my community and cleaning up Southwest Detroit. I finished nursing school at Loyola University Chicago in Spring 2020 and became a Registered Nurse. I am grateful to be able to use the values and virtues developed in the garden in my professional and personal life every day.
