2018 Clean Diesel Projects

In 2018, SDEV is managing three concurrent grant-funding projects under our Clean Diesel Program. These include:

  • Southwest Detroit Healthy Urban Goods Movement (SwD-HUGM)

Under this project SDEV is facilitating the reduction of diesel pollution through the replacement of six (6) Class 8 diesel trucks owned and operated by Gemini Transport. Gemini has agreed to collaborate with SDEV and Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) in order to meet our shared goals of reducing diesel pollution in and around Southwest Detroit.
