In a partnership with Southwest Detroit Environmental Vision (SDEV), and a grant from Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, two local companies, H&P Transportation and National Industrial Maintenance, will replace three old dirty diesel vehicles with new clean diesel vehicles.
The Clean Street Clean Air Collaborative project will reduce over 12 TONS OF DIESEL POLLUTION so that we all can breathe easier. Diesel pollution is a major health concern linked to cardiopulmonary diseases like lung cancer, COPD, and asthma. SDEV and their partners are working hard to improve air quality in Southwest Detroit!
