MaryCruz Gutierrez

MaryCruz is known for her advocacy journey. She has worked for and alongside most of all the Southwest-based non-profits. She has extensive experience working with her elders, community peers, youth, and early education programs. Through her social work experience, she has learned and experienced an understanding of issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion to hone her personal curiosity, respect, and love for culture.

Through her advocacy, she has built trust, helped and empowered others. Her backyard is public and Private Services, Schools, Businesses, and Churches. Her passion for safety and a healthy and thriving community keeps her on her toes. Ready and eager to learn and be of service.

To her and through her, she lives her life by the power of three; her Faith, her Family, and her Service! Her new adventure is Environmental Justice: environmental law, regulation, and policy.
