Emma is a 1st-year garden madrina here at CUGM. Emma began volunteering with us at the garden in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic where she assisted with produce distribution and growing throughout the summer and fall. Now taking on the role as a garden madrina Emma is excited to work with the community here in Southwest Detroit. Emma is a professional chef by trade and is always finding new ways to create healthy and creative recipes from the produce grown here at the garden.
