City of Detroit Office of Sustainability Spanish Community Input Session

Thursday, November 16, The City of Detroit Office of Sustainability will host a community meeting on the Sustainability Action Agenda. The meeting is from 9 – 11:30 at Congress of Communities 8638 Vernor, Detroit, MI 48209).

The City will present info on the effort to finalize this action agenda. The action agenda sets priorities on ways the City will work on/support eco friendly initiatives. Renee Wallace describes sustainability as “resourcefulness” – what Detroiters have always done well – with a focus on mother earth and her natural resources. We’re talking access to clean water, clean air, clean land/soil – and all that connects to those things. Attendees can share their ideas to help drive the priorities the City will set and act on in 2019.

Please spread the word. Call (313) 914-5315 to rsvp.
