Events: Annual Garden Party; Annual Member Meeting

Annual Garden Party:

SDEV’s annual Garden Party is held each year on the first Thursday in August at the lovely Cadillac Urban Gardens on Merritt St.  We welcome the community, collaborators, and friends of SDEV to join at our only major fundraiser of the year!

Your ticket to this happy-hour style event includes:

  • delicious samplers prepared by pop-up chefs using fresh produce from the garden
  • fantastic entertainment, and a fun-filled evening with friends and colleagues

Refreshing non-alcoholic beverages, beer, and wine are available for purchase, as well as a raffle with exciting prizes.

Annual Member Meeting:

Each December, SDEV presents our programs and impact to our members and collaborators. We celebrate the season and our shared work. The annual Member Meeting includes a community session to gather feedback, input, and ideas to move environmental work forward in Southwest Detroit. The Member Meeting is the first Thursday in December each year.
